We used The Home Coach for a buyer's inspection based on our realtor's recommendation and we are glad to have made the choice. Mark and Erika were very professional, thorough and extremely patient as they explained along the way. A home inspector can be good at their job and list their findings in a report and be done or they can go above and beyond by explaining the findings to the buyer along with practical recommendations. It's always the little things that distinguish a good service from great and these folks have it!

Mark always answers our home maintenance questions promptly and professionally. He has even come overtover help us out on occasion on short notice. We are definitely glad to have been referred to his services.

30 Jul 2020We were interested in purchasing an older home, but were worried about the unknowns or getting hit with a big expense shortly after moving in. We got referred to Mark at The House Coach, and he was so thorough with his inspection, that it really put us at ease. He took the time to explain to us in detail what he was documenting, and answer all of our questions and concerns on the spot. A very bright and detailed individual, and really glad we had the pleasure of working with him. He had also recently helped my parents with their home inspection, and my dad had nothing but good things to say about Mark. Thanks again Mark! Keep up the excellent work.

Mark Ellison was a very trustworthy and thorough home inspector who also was able to attend us right away despite the busy schedule. We are first time home buyers so we had a lot of questions for him but he took the time to answer all of them and the report that he delivered was thorough and well rounded. We are very pleased with his professional and excellent work. Worth to mention that his company is also integrated with a number of services that will monitor your appliances for recalls and warranty changes, etc. Highly recommend

Had a great experience with Mark. Very thorough, and went through each issue in detail so we knew what our next steps would be. Provided a detailed report after that we can easily reference in the future. Will definitely continue working with the Home Coach in the future!

When purchasing a house is a stressful enough time and for me being new to Canada Mark and his team take away the bulk of unnecessary drama and stress. Through their complete attention to detail, thoroughness as well as in depth knowledge of all building codes past and present makes them an invaluable asset to have when purchasing a home. Very appreciative of the time taken out to explain things in a language that can be understood. Cannot recommend these guys enough!

Mark and his assistant were an absolute pleasure to work with. They were exceptionally professional and knowledgeable...and extremely patient explaining things to us in terms we could understand. Very soon after the inspection, we received a comprehensive written report. We were confident purchasing our home knowing a thorough inspection had been done. In addition, after moving into our home we contacted Mark simply to ask for a referral to have some work done. In keeping with his thorough and caring work ethic, he came over himself to see if he could find a solution and to determine the best referral -- above and beyond what we would ever have expected. Without question, and with no hesitation, we highly recommend him.

Mark was a pleasure to work with. We couldn't go into the home with him due to COVID restrictions but he frequently came outside to chat with us. He was detailed, explained things in clear understandable ways and he made the experience fun ! The report we received after was thorough with pictures and details of what we discussed onsite. Would highly recommend !
