Mark is a professional in every sense of the word. He arrived early and immediately began assessing what we could. His knowledge is VAST to say the least, not only did he come with everything he needed and more to inspect the home he did provided updates as he went from different sections of the house. He informed on what needed to be addressed and also what was good to know. Would rate higher than 5 stars if I could. Will hands down use Mark again in the future.

Working with Mark was a great experience. Being from Switzerland, I leaned a lot on how homes are built in Canada, especially when in comes to differences in specific details. I could easily tell that Mark has a lot of experience and an exceptional work ethics. When I arrived on time for the inspection, he was already sitting on the roof and had done most of the work that he could do without entering the house. I immediately felt in good hands. I especially like that even a month after inspection, I can still get back to him with questions and he still remembers all relevant details from the inspection. I’ve worked with Mark on two occasions and have found his input invaluable. The first time was on a potential home purchase, that during the course of the home inspection turned out to have many code issues, and questionable renovations. Needless to say, after learning this I went with a different property that was given the green light by Mark, and was extremely happy with the quality of the home I purchased. I recently purchased another much older home in the highly competitive GTA market, and as a result did not have a Home Inspection prior to purchase. I now regret this decision. Water and mold was discovered in the finished basement less than 24 hours after possession. This warranted an emergency call to the Home Coach to help assess the problem and figure out next steps to solve it. Having been involved in multiple bidding wars in the GTA, I understand the temptation to waive a home inspection, but after this frustrating and costly experience I recommend seeking professional help to ensure the largest investment you’ll make as a buyer is a good one. Mark Ellison was a very trustworthy and thorough home inspector who also was able to attend us right away despite the busy schedule. We are first time home buyers so we had a lot of questions for him but he took the time to answer all of them and the report that he delivered was thorough and well rounded. We are very pleased with his professional and excellent work. Home Coach did an amazing job doing our inspection. My mom and I just purchased our first condo together and we were initially a little worried there may be issues in the condo since it is an older building. Mark did a thorough job doing our inspection and gave us some great advice. We both felt more comfortable moving in after the inspection. Home Coach is just not there to do business, they mean well for their customers! I will recommend Home Coach to my family and friends!

I had a few concerns about the property we were about to sell so I decided to have a home inspector come by to advise on any critical work that may need to be done before selling. Mark was the first home inspector I called. He was very friendly and helpful. It was obvious he had a lot of knowledge, but also very willing to help. After speaking with him, I booked an appointment right away and didn't bother calling anyone else for quotes to compare. When I met with Mark, he was very diligent and thorough. The home inspection itself was a great learning experience. Mark also offered his advice if I needed it throughout the selling process. Being a first time home buyer, I admittedly did not know much about the whole inspection process. Mark was amazing in walking us through the process and answering all of our questions. He was able to really break down some of the technical jargon and help us understand all aspects of the house inside and out. He followed up with his report a few hours later that included a ton of detail and pictures to assist in the explanations.
