Mark at the Home Coach is the best of the best! Not only was he extremely thorough, he took the time to explain each process needed to know as a first time home buyer. Including what are the problems to prepare for in the future and who to call when the time comes. For example, the water heater being a rental and to ask the original owner's to do maintenance before we move in is something I would never have thought of. His expertise and communication was unmatched, as he took the time to explain complicated electrical installation using familiar analogies. The report was made within a few short hours and an additional warranty package was provided. I will be recommending Mark the Home Coach to everyone I know!

Mark was recommended to us by our realtor and he was outstanding! He would inspect an area of the house and then provide a thorough explanation of the issues (or lack thereof) that he saw. I would highly recommend his services.

I'm not gonna lie, when we saw the price for the inspection and how long it would take, our eyebrows went up. But in this case, you get what you pay for. Our inspector, Mark, took his time, looking at every detail with sharp eyes and a thoroughness neither of us expected. He showed us so many little and big things, and explained why they were relevant in an approachable way for people like us who aren't very knowledgeable about houses/structures. He was friendly and kind, and didn't make us feel like inferior for our ignorance in any way. He built a rapport and trust with us. He even tested things that went above and beyond what our signed agreement stated would be part of the inspection. Just like his inspection, his report was incredibly detailed - more than double the size of a previous inspection I'd seen. He provided plenty of information and noted what he'd discussed with us in person so we weren't fumbling around trying to remember things. At the end of the day, the inspector is there to make you aware of any potential safety issues or issues with the house that can cost you thousands of dollars in the future. Mark came all the way from Caledon to Kitchener to do an inspection for us and he was a PLEASURE to chat with, incredibly knowledgeable and honest and thorough.
